Handmade Leather Guitar Straps

Legend Straps' Handmade Leather Guitar Straps are straps that with a story that inspires creativity and art.

Each strap's story begins in the Wayuu reservations scattered throughout the Guajira region of Colombia.  Legend Straps works directly with families and artisans of the Wayuu Indigenous Group to directly and fairly source our woven patterns.  This women-led Tribe located in Colombia and Venezuela has a tradition of weaving and crocheting that spans generations.  

After a careful inspection and thorough washing of each strap, we then work with a family-run leather shop in Bogotá, Colombia to produce Legend Straps in small batches.  

The final step is to attach our strap to your guitar's buttons, and feel the combination of beauty and traditions that each strap holds.
